I wasn’t happy about it but Phoenix worked with me, and arranged for me to be picked up at the agency. Hakan was very friendly and offered coffee, very lovely to converse with while I waited for my pickup. He said the owners of the ranch were friends of his and really cares for the horses.”

“We booked the sunset horseback ride for a group of 4 adults. We were picked up from our hotel at around 4:30 pm and joined a group of maybe 15 other tourists at the Ottoman ranch which was only a 10 minute drive outside of Goreme town. The horses we had were quite well behaved. The horses just walk the trail( no galloping or trotting) because in some parts of the trail, the horse has to walk a very narrow path on the cliff, sometimes going downhill or climbing up, with a sheer drop on your left side.
